I’ve always been drawn to creating. My paintings celebrate movement, vibrant colour, and the feeling of being immersed in a garden, inviting viewers to pause, explore, and discover something new each time they look.
Born and raised in Welland, Ontario, Canada, and attended Sheridan College, Oakville, I now live and create in Southwestern Ontario.
Every painting is named after a favourite song. The title comes after the painting is complete, when the music seems to capture the feeling the artwork has found.
As past owner and curator of The JMR Gallery in Bayfield, I exhibited my own work while representing and promoting the work of many talented Ontario artists. The gallery became known for its thoughtfully curated exhibitions, welcoming atmosphere, and commitment to showcasing exceptional Canadian art.
